27 players to represent Iraq not a final decision, says Zico

ERBIL, August 22 (AKnews) – Iraq’s football coach Zico said the 27
players chosen to represent the Iraqi team is not a final decision and
he will exclude some names from the training camp.
Zico said:
"Four players will be excluded from those chosen for the Iraqi team.
Only 23 of them will represent Iraq against Japan on September 11.
"The training camp will be held in South Korea and it is very important to refresh the Iraqi team and prepare the players.
"Our aim is to win against Japan and stay in the competition to qualify for the Brazil World Cup."
In
a press conference Zico named the Iraqi team players. They include:
Noor Sabri, Mohammed Gassid, Jalal Hassan, Samal Saeed, Walid Salem, Ali
Hussein Arehima, Ahmed Ibrahim, Ali Bahjat, Ali Abdul-Jabbar, David
Haider, Basim Abbas, Hussam Kadim, Qusay Munir, Muthana Khalid, Abbas
Arehima, Osama Rashid, Khaldoun Ibrahim, Hossam Ibrahim, Amjad Radhi,
Ahmed Yassin, Samer Saeed, Nashat Akram, Alaa Abdul Zahra, Karrar
Jassim, Mustafa Karim, Younis Mahmoud and Hammadi Ahmed.
