Senegalese professional player arrives in Kurdistan to join Erbil club

ERBIL, Aug. 1 (AKnews) - A source in Erbil Sports Club said Tuesday that Senegalese professional player Dipo Baba Abdullah arrived to the Kurdistan Region to join the football team, after undergoing tests to join the team.

 

Rebin Ramzi, an official in the media department of the club, said: "The Syrian coach of Erbil Football Club Nizar Mahrous will decide later whether Abdullah will stay with the team or not.

 

"The Senegalese player is 27 years old and 187cm high and he is a defense player. Abdullah played earlier with the Senegalese club Joan Dark Dhaka before joining the ranks of Dinamo Tirana Albanian team for five seasons in a row.

 

“The player also joined the ranks of Saudi’s club before joining Oscoppin Albanian Club, in addition to playing with the secondary team in his country."

 

With regard to the competition for the title between Erbil and Taji scheduled to he held today within the Iraqi elite league, he said: "Erbil will play the match with the same squad that played Shorta amid the possibility of the absence of the player of Ebil Hlakard al-Mulla Mouhammed due to injury."
