Iraqi footballer signs contract with UAE Ajman Club22/06/2012 14:49
ERBIL, June 22 (AKnews)- Karrar Jassim, the 25-year-old Iraqi team footballer, has signed a contract to play for Ajman Club in the UAE Pro-League, al-Kura website said.
Jassim will play for Ajman in the next season and will fill up the position of Lebanese Hassan Matuf who left to join Emirates Club.
Jassim has so far played for the Iraqi Najaf and Qatari Wakrah clubs as well as Iranian clubs of Esteqlal and Tractor Sazi of Tabriz.
The Iraqi midfielder is now warming up with the national team for the Arab Cup in Saudi Arabia.
In the previous season of UAE pro-league, Ajman won the seventh rank with 31 points.
