Germans train Kurdish referees

Erbil, March 13 (AKnews) – The German Referee Training Course began Saturday in the Erbil general library lobby by presenting deputy head of sport and youth commission in Kurdistan parliament, Sherdel Tahssin and Kurdistan Football Association Chief, Safin Kanabi in the city of Erbil.  
The event has taken place by Tahssin’s respective statement, who has expressed the sport and youth commission’s ambition to backup such kind of referee training courses in order to progress the capacity of local coaches.  
 In his part, the Instructor and the Trainer, Peter Volman said that “we are working together with the local referee in order to teach them the latest mechanism and plan of referees’ issues in Kurdistan Region.”  
“The training course is concentrating into both practical and theoretical lessons for 6 hours in two times per-days for one week in the province,” Kanabi said.
   “We are optimistic that the local football referees will be interested into the training course for receiving the latest acknowledgment about the football referees in the short time,” he noted.  
According to such kind of training courses, Kanabi added that “we are continually looking for such kind of training courses to establish the massive information background about the football referees in Kurdistan Region.”  
The above mentioned training course is coursing under the auspices of the Kurdistan Football Association in Kurdistan Region.
