Kurdish table tennis player to go to west Asia championship

Erbil, Feb. 8 (AKnews) – After outstanding performance in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq table tennis championships, a disabled Kurdish player will go to a west Asian table tennis championship for the disabled, a source said.
Kanyaw Omar is a Kurdish disabled tennis player who was admitted into the Iraqi table tennis team and together with 6 other girls are expected to go to west Asian countries championship in Jordan, according to Farsat Shali, secretary of the Iraqi Paralympic Committee.
Kanyaw Omar is in good condition and is well prepared for the championship.
“I want to prove that we disabled are not different from others if not neglected, therefore I dream about wining Asia title” Omar said.
