09/08/2012 11:43ERBIL, Aug. 9 (AKnews)- Ziyad Rauf has been assigned as Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG)'s representative to Poland, KRG website reported today.
While the KRG continues to open up to the world and establish friendly ties on the basis of common interest, it decided to open a representation in Poland and assign Rauf as its representative to the country, said KRG's Foreign Relations chief Falah Mustafa.
Mustafa hoped that with the KRG representative the political, economic and cultural relations between Kurdistan and Poland are strengthened and the representation office becomes a bridge to join Kurdish and Polish investors and businessmen.
With the new office, KRG now has 14 representative offices.
Poland opened its representative office in Kurdistan in July.
