ERBIL, July 24 (AKnews) – Yesterday's bombings suggest that al-Qaeda can
attack whenever it wants, said a member of the Kurdistan Alliance
fraction in the Iraqi House of Representatives.
Yesterday a number of bomb blasts rocked cities, districts and towns in Iraq and left 332 casualties.
Hassan
Jihad said the bombings indicate that al-Qaeda members can attack
whenever they want. Last month the organization carried out many
explosions.
Jidad added: "Al-Qaeda's message is to tell us
that the organization does exist and can carry out attacks wherever its
members want.
"Syria's situation has no effect on Iraq's bombings but it will after the collapse of Bashar Asad's regime."
The
head of the Kurdistan Islamic Union fraction in the House of
Representatives Najib Balataye stated that Iraqi security forces are not
sophisticated enough in a level to safeguard peace in the country
despite the amount of money spent.
