Kurds advance to free more cities of Syria20/07/2012 14:56
ERBIL, July 20 (AKnews)- The Kurdish forces are advancing to free at least three more cities of Syria by end of today, said an official.
The forces are advancing well to free Amuda of Hasaka province, Efrin of Aleppo and Sheikh Habib along some other cities, said Bahjat Bashir, a member of the Kurdish National Council of Syria (KNCS).
Bashir added the KNCS and the People's Council's of the Kurdistan Democratic Union, close to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), have met so that Kurds seize the control of the cities which they free.
After an explosion in Damascus yesterday, which left many high Syrian officials dead, Kurds took over Ain Arab (Kobani) city and the Free Syrian Army controlled the entire border with Iraq.
