BAGHDAD, Dec. 11 (AKnews) - The Sadrist movement led by hardline cleric Moqtada al-Sadr said Sunday it will work to achieve "reconciliation" between former Prime Minister Ayad Allawi's Iraqiya List and current PM Nouri al-Maliki's State of Law Coalition.

The Secretary-General of the Ahrar Bloc Dia al-Asadi told AKnews that the Ahrar bloc will begin new talks to end the disputes after the full withdrawal of U.S. troops.

Sadr called yesterday the Iraqi parties to sign a pact to keep security and political stability after the U.S. withdrawal.

Maliki's coalition welcomed reconciliation with Iraqiya List in order to avoid problems after the withdrawal of U.S. forces and to support the political process in Iraq.

More than 95% of the U.S. troops have saddled up and left Iraq and the remainder are expected to drive across the border with Kuwait by the end of this year.
