The number is high for this election, however, all the complaints have not been delivered to the IHEC, therefore the commission will not start looking into them before all the complaints are submitted, Sardar Abdul Karim of the IHEC said Wednesday.

The current number of the complaints raised to the commission is 852, according to Abdul Karim.

The early vote of March 5 was more disputed than the general vote - which involved 19 million eligible voters in 18 Iraqi provinces - as 381 complaints have been raised by the political lists, while for the general March 7 vote, 377 complaints have been filed.

Moreover, 94 complaints have been submitted to the IHEC against the general vote abroad, according to the official.

Iraq's early vote took place on March 4, where more than 600 thousand security forces, hospital patients, and prisoners with no more than 5 years of jail cast their ballots. And the nationwide vote took place on March 7, where 19 million people in 18 Iraqi provinces were entitled to cast their vote to elect a new parliament for the country, in addition to 1.9 million expatriates in 16 world countries.
