Maliki to change security officials following bloody attacks
17/08/2012 13:43BAGHDAD, Aug.17 (AKnews)- Iraqi Prime Minister and General Commander of the Armed Forces will make several changes in the security posts in Baghdad and other provinces due to the security violations.
The PM has began the changes which includes substituting and reassigning the security officials due to the recent security violations, said Askanar Watut, deputy for the chairman of the committee of security and defense at the house.
The official did not provide further details.
In the past two days at least 70 civilians and security forces were killed in the explosions and armed attacks across Baghdad and the disputed provinces between Kurdistan and Baghdad governments. Tens more were wounded.
