BAGHDAD, Aug.16 (AKnews)- Two Iraqi soldiers were killed and four more wounded in the explosion of a bomb planted near a road to the west of Baghdad.
The improvised explosive device (IED) struck the military convoy carrying the six soldiers near Abu-Ghrayib district, said a police officer who demanded anonymity.
The explosion occurred only a few hours after a car bomb blast in the mainly Shiite Husseiniya neighborhood of Baghdad left behind a number of casualties.
