Admission in model schools depends on grades, says Kurdistan's Education Ministry

ERBIL, August 6 (AKnews) – Erbil education’s deputy general director for technical affairs announced that from now on students in model schools will receive admission centrally and the admission will depend on grades.
Faisal Hassan said: "The names of accepted students in model schools in Erbil will be announced in a few days’ time."
Hassan added that so far 1,200 students have submitted their forms in model schools in Erbil.
The deputy stated that there are seven model schools in Erbil, which are able to accept 500 students. From now on the students will be admitted in these schools according to their grades in the fifth and sixth levels in secondary school.
The average of the two years' grades in English, maths and science will count to accept students, said the official.
