Kurdistan disabled allocated 5% quota in public sector employment
10/07/2012 17:45ERBIL, July 10 (AKnews)- Kurdistan disabled individuals will receive forms of employment in public sector on July 15, minister of labor and social affairs said.
This year for the first time Kurdistan government and parliament allocated disabled people a quota in governmental employment; 5% of 17,000 jobs, Asos Najib said.
Najib added the disabled people will be issued special forms separately on July 15.
Offices in Erbil, Suli and Duhok began distributing the general employment forms today.
The forms are of four types depending on whether the applicant is a university graduate, an institute graduate, a high school graduates or whether he holds any lower academic certificate.
It is two years that the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has begun recruiting new employees by means of forms. Last year 25,000 people were employed.
