Five wounded in Jalawla Bridge hand grendade blast

GARMIYAN, Feb. 20 (AKnews) - Five people have been left wounded after a hand grenade attached to a private car exploded on Jalawla Bridge yesterday.

Khanaqin police officer Mustafa Jawad said the grenade exploded at 17.00 local time.

One of the wounded is Maj. Wadi Ahmed, a fire officer of the former regime, who lost both his legs. The other victims are his relatives.
