GARMIYAN, Jan.27 (AKnews)- The body of a peshmarga (Kurdistan border guard) was found today in Saadiya district of Khanaqin, 177km east of Baghdad.

Khaled Mahmoud, a member of the organizational committee of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in Saadiya, told AKnews that the victim Wisam Jumaa was "savagely" stabbed and his body was tossed in an orchard.

He added it was since yesterday afternoon that the PUK peshmarga went missing. Today some unidentified people used the cell phone of the victim and told the receivers that they have cut down Jumaa's body.

"When we found the body we saw that it was cut into pieces and his tongue was also cut down," Mahmoud said.
