Kirkuk judge survives three blasts
18/12/2011 12:46KIRKUK, Dec. 18 (AKnews) - Brig. Gen. Sarhad Qader, Kirkuk districts police chief, told AKnews the First Judge of Kirkuk Court Abdul-Razzaq al-Jobouri survived an assassination attempt today after three explosive devices planted near his house in southern Kirkuk exploded.
Three civilians near the scene were wounded. The house of the judge also sustained damages.
This is the second member of the judiciary to be attacked in as many days. Yesterday Judge Mohammed Shiyaa was wounded when gunmen in a BMW opened fire on his convoy in western Baghdad.
