We’ll modify investment law to acclimate with world developments, says Kurdistan's deputy PM

ERBIL, June 30 (AKnews) – The Kurdistan Region's Deputy Prime Minister
Imad Ahmed announced that the government will modify the region's
investment law in a way to acclimate with the region and the world's
development.
Ahmed’s announcement came in a meeting in Suli,
which included Finance and Economic Minister Bayiz Talabani,
Reconstruction and Housing Minister Kamaran Ahmed, chairman of the
Investment Board Herish Muharam, secretary of the Council of Ministers
Mohammed Qaradaghi, Suli governor Bahroz Mohammed and a number of
investors.
Ahmed said: "The government's policy is in favor of
investors and investors should fulfill their obligation towards the
country.”
Ahmed confirmed that it was decided to amend the investment law for a second time.
The new law should remove barriers and routines to facilitate the investment process and make progress, said the deputy.
