Erbil, July 7 (AKnews) – The scale of investment projects are estimated at 7 billion and 500 million USD in the capital of Kurdistan region, Erbil, the deputy governor reported on Tuesday.
“we expect that the scale will increase in the coming years,” Tahir Abdullah said.
The projects have been carried out in different sectors, such as industry, reconstruction, agriculture and housing projects in Erbil, Abdullah noted.
The member of Erbil Commerce Chamber, Fida’ddin Ahmed said: “attracting foreign and local investors to make business in Kurdistan might have a great influence on the economic growth in the region.”
We believe that the foreign and local investors might increase job opportunities to a great number of unemployed, Ahmed noted.
Erbil is becoming an attractive city for foreign and local investors and businessmen to use their money in investment projects.
