Erbil, Feb. 8 (AKnews) – The Kurdistan MP from the Goran List has demanded today the return of the Regional 2010 Budget back to the Council Ministers of Kurdistan, due to discovering several disputes in it, but the legal Commission Chief from the Kurdistan List rejected the demand, suggesting to check the Budget again, an MP from Kurdistan's "Goran" List reported on Monday.
“The Ministries Commissions of the Kurdistan Parliament are continuing discussions of the national budget for 2010 together with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to prepare their final report about the draft law on the Budget,” Ismael Galali told the Independent National News Agency of Kurdistan (AKnews).
“The Regional Planning Ministry has not taken into consideration the Ministers Consultation about the potential projects for the year,” Galali said.
“We believe to course back the Budget's draft law to the Council of Minister, due to several mistakes, for instance, setting out some useless projects to the Ministry of Power this year,” he noted.
Regarding the above proposals, the Legal Commission's Chief in the Kurdistani list, Shirwan Haidari told AKnews, "the 2010 Budget does not include major mistakes, that necessitates sending Budget back to the Council of Ministers, and also the Ministers reports are going to be concluded together with the Financial Commission report for discussion in the Kurdistan Parliament in next few days.”

The Kurdistan Region’s Budget is estimated at 11 trillions (t) and 433 billion (b)Iraqi Dinars.
