Shivan Parwar to hold concert in Erbil

 

Erbil, 24 June (AKnews) – Shivan Parwar is expected to hold a song concert on Thursday evening to commemorate the World Music Day.

The famous Kurdish singer is expected to hold a concert on Thursday evening in the Sami Abdulrehman Park in Erbil city at 19:00 pm (1600 GMT) to mark the World Music Day.

 

The famous Kurdish artist was invited by the French consulate to hold the concert in association with the KRG’s ministry of culture.

 

Previously, the French Consulate had said that he had invited Shivan Parwar to Erbil to hold a live concert to mark the World Music Day.

 

Everybody is welcome to the concert.

 

Many senior KRG officials, the entire consulate and the NGOs have been invited to the concert, a source from the French consulate said.

 

The World Music Day is originally a French festival.

 

It was first celebrated in France on 26 June 1882, and currently, it is commemorated in 126 countries in the world.

 

Kurdistan region also celebrated the day on 26 June and many concerts and festivals were held to mark the occasion.
