Aras Publishers releases Narrative Units of the Speech by Fadel Thamer
02/06/2012 20:05ERBIL, June 2 (AKnews) - Erbil-based Aras Publishers has released a reference book looking at multiple methods to tell a story and how to use the same story to express different ideas. 
Narrative Units of the Speech by Fadel Thamer is 241 pages in long.
Thamer said in his book: "The difficulties in studying the structure of the plot increase because the analyst must decide what are the initial narrative units and explore the ways that harmonize them together.
"It is apparent that the analysis of the structure of the plot should be theoretically possible, else we must recognize that the plot and our impression about it was arbitrary."
Thamer is a critic and translator born in 1938. He holds a BA degree in English from the University of Baghdad, and a diploma in English from Libya. He has published several pieces of writing, critical studies and contemporary Iraqi stories. He is the current head of Iraq's Writers' Union.
