Nineveh, March 10 (AKnews)- The Kurdish poet and journalist Abdul Karim al-Kilani is now included within the Arab poets encyclopaedia. "My name was added to those of thousand Arabic poets in the Arab poets Encyclopaedia, that includes poets of the period between 1906 and1956 and two Kurdish writers so far", al-Kilani told The Independent National News Agency of Kurdistan (AKnews). The Kurdish poet Nawwaf Khalaf al-Sinjari has said earlier to (AKnews) that his name was "among a thousand Arab poets in the major Encyclopaedia of Arab poets… I'm not absolutely sure whether there are any Kurdish poets because I have not seen all the names." The Moroccan poet Fatima abu-Horakah had prepared and submitted the Arab poets’ encyclopaedia. Al-Kilani said : "Moroccan poet Fatima abU-Horakah has selected me and chose the Musli poet Bashar Abdullah (who lives in Syria now) among those who provided her the names of the Iraqi poets ... a year and a half ago we worked together and I also contacted some Iraqi writers and told them about the idea, and took many names on the basis that I'll be one of the founders of the encyclopaedia." "Due to my commitments, particularly because I'm the editor of (the Truth) weekly newspaper, I was unable to communicate with the team of the encyclopaedia." Al-Kilani said that abu-Horakah "did not mention my name as one of the founders of the encyclopaedia because I was busy for a long time so I stopped working with them, but my name is written within this encyclopaedia and also exists within the (Encyclopedia of Mosul) prepared by Dr. Omar Taleb." The Arab poets encyclopaedia included the names of several Iraqi poets such as Muhammad Mahdi al-Jawahiri, Badr Shaker al-Sayab, Blend al-Haidari, Abdul Wahab al-Bayati, Nazik Al-Malaika, Lamiea Abbas Amara, Ibrahim al-Samurrai, Ahmad Mattar, Mahmoud Brekan, Baqir Jassim Mohammed, Kamal Sebti, Bushra Bustani, Adeeb Kamal al-Din, Kazar Hantush, Mohammed Mazloum, Raad Fadel, Raad Mutshar, Hussein al-Hashimi, Talib Abd al-Aziz, Hassan Abed Radi, Hassan Rahim Kharasani, Khaled Babili, Khalid Khazraji, Mohamed Taleb al-Asadi, Habib Samer and many others..
